2025劍橋英語國際認證頒獎典禮

 

Good afternoon everybody:

It is a pleasure to be here today to celebrate the achievements of your children. Their hard work, curiosity, and determination have brought them to this moment, and each of them deserves to feel proud.

Over my 20+ years of teaching in Taiwan, I have seen English education grow in exciting ways. Students are no longer limited to memorizing grammar rules or reading from a textbook. Instead, they are developing real communication skills—listening, speaking skills, as well as reading, and writing skills — all together. Much of this progress has been supported by the Cambridge English exam system and schools like Ching Hai, which guide students step by step toward becoming confident English users.
 

Many of our younger learners have already completed the three levels of the YLE exams—Starters, Movers, and Flyers. These levels build a strong foundation, but they are only the beginning of a much larger journey. For students who wish to continue growing, the next stages—KEY, Preliminary, and eventually the more advanced FCE—offer opportunities to deepen their understanding and challenge themselves in many new ways. These exams help students move beyond using simple sentences and allow them to fully expressing true ideas, opinions, and stories with clarity and confidence.
 

To the parents here today, I want to emphasize how important your support is. Children learn best when school and home work together. Encouragement from you—whether it’s reading with them, asking about their lessons, or simply showing interest in their progress—makes a tremendous difference. And of course, none of this growth would be possible without the dedication of our teachers, who guide students patiently and help them develop the skills needed for higher‑level communication.
 

In the classroom is where communication becomes real. It is where the students learn to listen actively, respond naturally, and build strong social and collaborative skills. The energy of a classroom, the subtlety of a teacher’s facial expressions, the rhythm of real conversation—these are essential parts of language learning that the Ching Hai School provides for all of its lovely students.
 

As those students move toward KEY, Preliminary, and FCE, these human interactions become even more important. These exams require not only vocabulary and grammar, but also require the ability to think, communicate, and solve problems in English. These are abilities that grow through real conversations, real challenges, and real experiences.
 

Ching Hai School has played a vital role in supporting this kind of growth. The school’s commitment to excellence has helped many students succeed in the YLE and KEY levels, with some even achieving perfect scores. More importantly, the school provides an environment where students can continue to advance, step by step, toward even the higher levels that open doors to international opportunities and global communication.
   

To all the students here: learning English is not just about passing tests. It is about expanding your mind, discovering new cultures, and gaining the confidence to express your ideas on a global stage. By continuing to challenge yourselves, by practicing consistently, and by embracing the higher levels of the Cambridge pathway, you will unlock opportunities that will shape your future in powerful ways.

 

And to the parents: thank you so much for the trust you have placed in us and for the support you give your children every single day.

 

Congratulations once again to all of you. May your journey of learning and discovery continue to grow and shine.

劍橋認證頒獎演說（2025-12-21）

       家長、同學們午安。今天能與各位一同慶祝孩子們的卓越成就，我感到萬分榮幸。孩子們展現出的努力、好奇心與決心，成就了眼前的榮耀時刻，每位同學都值得為自己感到自豪。

 

       在台灣深耕英語教育二十餘年，我見證了學習模式的深刻變革。現在的學生不再侷限於死背文法或教科書，而是致力於培養真正的溝通力——將聽、說、讀、寫融會貫通。這份進步，歸功於劍橋英語評量系統，以及像青海這樣專業的教育機構，逐步引導學生成為自信的英語使用者。

 

        許多年幼的學員已順利通過 YLE 的三個階段。這僅是精彩旅程的起點，對於追求卓越的學生來說，未來的 KET、PET 乃至進階的 FCE 考試，將提供深化理解與自我挑戰的契機，幫助孩子超越片段的句子，能清晰且自信地傳達深刻的想法與故事。

 

       我想強調的是家長們的支持是孩子最強大的後盾。當學校與家庭攜手合作，學習成效最為顯著。無論是陪孩子閱讀，或是關心他們的學習進度，您的鼓勵都是孩子前行的動力。同時，我們也要感謝老師們的奉獻，是他們的耐心引導，開發了學生更深層的潛能。

 

       在青海的教室裡，語言學習是生動活潑的。學生在教室練習傾聽、自然回應，並建立協作技巧。老師細膩的引導與真實對話的節奏，是不可或缺的學習養分。

       隨著邁向 KET 或 FCE 等更高層級，考試的範圍將不再侷限於單字或文法，還要求具備用英語思考、溝通及解決問題的能力。這些能力是透過真實對話、真實挑戰和真實經驗來成長的。

 

       青海學校在支持孩子學習成長方面扮演了重要角色。對卓越的堅持幫助許多學生在YLE和KEY階段通過認證，甚至許多學生達到滿分的成績。更重要的是，青海提供了一個讓學生能逐步進步，甚至邁向更高層次的環境，開啟國際機會與全球交流的大門。

       致所有在座的學生們：學習英語不只是為了通過考試。更是為了擴展思維、發掘新文化，並獲得在世界舞台上表達自我想法的自信。透過持續挑戰自我、持續練習，循著劍橋的學習歷程，你們將解鎖無限可能，掌握塑造未來的鑰匙。

 

最後，再次感謝家長對我們的信任及給予孩子的支持。
